Security and two-factor authentication

Protect your account with an authenticator app, confirm sensitive actions, and reset a forgotten password.

Turn on two-factor authentication

With two-factor authentication (2FA) turned on, Qwickraft asks for a verification code from your phone every time you sign in. You can also use it to confirm important actions like site deletions and transfers.

Start the setup

Open Account Settings, find Two-Factor Authentication, and click Set up.

Connect your authenticator app

Scan the QR code using Google Authenticator, 1Password, or any other authenticator app. If you can't scan the QR code, use Or enter this key by hand.

Verify your code

Enter the 6-digit code shown in your authenticator app and click Turn on.

Save your recovery codes

Save your Recovery Codes somewhere safe.

  • If you ever lose your phone, each recovery code can be used once in place of an authenticator code.
  • For your security, we cannot show these codes again after you close this screen.

Signing in with two-factor authentication

Once enabled, after you sign in with your password (or Google, or an emailed login code), you will be prompted to enter the Authentication code from your app.

  • Lost your phone? Click Recovery code on the verification screen and enter one of your saved recovery codes.

Confirming important actions

Sensitive actions—such as deleting a site, transferring a site, or connecting/removing a domain—require you to verify your identity:

  • By default, you confirm with a 6-digit code sent by email.
  • If you have set up two-factor authentication, you can confirm using a code from your authenticator app instead.

Forgot your password

If you can't remember your password:

  1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot Password?.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Enter the Reset code we send to your email and choose a New password (at least 8 characters).

Lost both your phone and your recovery codes? Email support@qwickraft.com from your account's email address for help.
