Theme and branding

Switch themes, set your logo, colors, and SEO, and arrange your homepage sections and navigation menus.

Everything that controls how your site looks lives under Design in the sidebar. All changes made here are saved to your draft—visitors see them on your live domain after you publish.

Themes

Click Themes under Design. Your current design is shown at the top under Active theme, and all other available designs are listed below in the Theme Marketplace.

  • Browse & preview: Use Search themes..., sort the list, or toggle between grid and list views. Click Preview on any theme card to see how it looks before switching.
  • Switch themes: Click Switch to this theme on the design you want, then confirm with Switch theme. Your visual theme settings (such as colors and fonts) reset to the new theme's defaults. The new theme is applied to your draft—publish your site when you are ready for visitors to see it.
  • Theme updates: Whenever a newer version of your active theme is released, its card shows an Update button.

Incompatible theme

If a new theme organises its built-in content differently from your current theme, Qwickraft displays Incompatible theme. Switching will remove the old theme's built-in content types and replace them with the new theme's. (Any custom content types and content you created yourself are kept.) Only click Switch anyway if you are sure.

Branding

Click Branding (the page is titled Customize). It is divided into three tabs—remember to click Save changes on each tab after editing:

1. General

Set your core branding, colors, and site-wide SEO:

  • Site Logo and Favicon (the small icon displayed in the browser tab).
  • Primary Color and Accent Color, plus font choices (where supported by your theme).
  • SEO Settings: Set your default SEO Title, SEO Description, and SEO / OG Image (recommended size: 1200 × 630px) to control how your site looks in search engine results and social media link previews.
  • CSS Override: Add custom CSS rules for advanced styling adjustments. Use with caution.

2. Pages

Show or hide your theme's built-in pages. Hiding a page removes it from your navigation menus and returns a "not found" page if someone visits its URL directly.

Add your social media links (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, and others), contact details, and footer text.

Sections (Homepage layout)

Click Sections (called Landing page on a Booking Engine) to customise the layout of your homepage. Under Section Layout:

  • Edit content: Click any section to edit its text, images, or settings, then click Save changes.
  • Reorder or remove: Use Move up, Move down, and Remove to rearrange or delete sections.
  • Add new sections: Click Add Section and pick a section type to insert it onto the page.

Each page tab also includes Page Settings where you can configure the SEO Configuration for that specific page.

Click Menus under Design to manage your site's navigation:

  1. Click Add menu, enter a Menu name, and choose its Location: Main (header), Footer, or Sidebar.
  2. Add your Navigation items: set a Label and choose what it links to (Page, Category, or Custom URL for external links).
  3. Drag and drop items to reorder them. For a clean header layout, we recommend keeping your main menu to 5 to 7 items.
